Sweetbread Bake

Ingredients
  Sweetbreads 1 Pound
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Dry breadcrumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bacon slices 6
Directions

Cook sweetbreads in simmering water 20 minutes.
Cut into 6 serving-size pieces.
Dip into mixture of egg and 1 tablespoon water, then into crumbs.
Wrap each in bacon and fasten with wooden pick.
Bake in shallow pan at 400° for 35 minutes.
