Butterscotch Apple Sundaes

Ingredients
  Unpared tart cooking apples 3 Medium, sliced
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream scoop 6 (About 1/2 Cup Each)
Directions

1. Mix all ingredients except ice cream in 2-quart casserole.
2. Cover tightly and microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes, until apples are almost tender when pierced with fork. Serve warm over ice cream.
