|Unsweetened chocolate||4 Ounce (125 Gram)|
|Granulated sugar||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Maple syrup||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Water||50 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Rum||50 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Heavy cream||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Vanilla ice cream||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place chocolate in stainless steel bowl set over saucepan half-filled with boiling water and melt.
Remove bowl from heat and set aside.
Place sugar, maple syrup and water in saucepan.
Bring to boil and continue cooking 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
Remove saucepan from heat and let cool slightly.
When sugar-syrup mixture is lukewarm, add rum and mix well.
Add melted chocolate and mix well.
Slowly pour in cream while whisking constantly.
Pour chocolate sauce into bowl and refrigerate until cold.
