Hot Brown Sugar Sauce

|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), heated|
|Whisky/Brandy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine brown sugar and butter in small saucepan on low heat and beat using an electric hand beater. Gradually add hot cream, still beating over a low heat until it boils. Remove from heat, beat in whisky or brandy if using, and lastly add nuts.
