Sugar Cure Mixture
|Salt||8 Pound (Medium Granulated Salt Not Iodized Salt)|
|Granulated sugar||3 Pound (White / Light Brown)|
1. Combine all the ingredients carefully do that the saltpetre is distributed evenly throughout the salt. (For even distribution add the saltpetre with a handful of salt and then mix that salt into the rest of the curing mixture).
2. Use only fresh ingredients for the mix and discard the mix every time after use.
