Brown Sugar Apples

|Light brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
1 Peel and core the apples then cut them in to thin slices of equal size.
2 Preheat the oven at 375 degrees farenheit.
3 In a buttered baking dish arrange the apple in layers sprinkling lemon rind,lemon juice and sugar on each layer.
4 Use butter to dot the topmost layer of the apples.
5 Place the dish in the centre of a preheated oven and bake at 375 degrees farenheit for 30 minutes or until tender.
6 Serve with heavy cream.
