Brown Sugar Glazed Apples

Ingredients
  Red apples 1 1⁄2 Pound (6 Small Ones)
  Light brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), firmly packed
  Light corn syrup 3 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

1. Wash apples; core each, being careful not to cut through the bottom. Remove a thin slice from stem end.
2. Place apples in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle cut surfaces with brown sugar; drizzle with corn syrup and butter.
3. Place in oven with goose during last hour of roasting; baste apples every 20 minutes, serve with cream if desired.
