|Vanilla ice cream||2 Quart|
|Cream of tartar||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Peanuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Soften the ice cream and then mound it on an ovenproof platter.
3. Press peanuts on to the ice cream and freeze till chilled through.
4. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding cream of tartar and sugar and spread the meringue over ice cream mound. Bake for 5 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned
5. Serve chilled
