Brown Sugar Buns
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon (Royal)|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Sift flour along with salt and baking powder. Rub in shortening gently. Gradually add milk to prepare a soft dough. Transfer to a floured ball and roll out into 1 inch thick.
3. Soften the butter and spread on the dough. Add brown sugar all over the butter. Roll in the fashion of a jelly roll, Divide into 1.5 inch pieces and arrange in a thoroughly greased pan.
4. Bake for half an hour and take out once done.
5. Serve warm.
