Rolled Sugar Mace Cookies

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Egg 1
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground
Directions

Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
Stir together flour, baking powder, mace, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Divide in half.
Cover; chill 1 hour.
On lightly floured surface, roll each half to 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut with cookie cutters.
Bake on un-greased cookie sheet at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes.
