Chocolate Peanut Butter Bon Bons are crispy like a candy bar. Sweet peanut butter with crunchy rice cereal, coated in bittersweet chocolate. Great No-Bake dessert.
Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
Creamy peanut butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Crispy rice cereal | 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Confectioner’s sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Bittersweet chocolate chips | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (((for dipping (6 oz)))) |
Making
We’re going to brown the butter first. Melt the butter in a skillet, then cook for a few minutes until brown specks appear. Immediately remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth.
In a large bowl, combine rice cereal and confectioner’s sugar. Stir in the peanut butter mixture until the confectioner’s sugar has disappeared. Scoop into 1-inch balls and set on a baking sheet. Chill for 2 hours.
Once chilled, you can roll the scoops in your palms into a more ball-like shape.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, then dip each ball in melted chocolate. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes so the chocolate can set. Enjoy!
