Green Soybean And Corn Succotash

Ingredients
  Corn cobs 12
  Green soybeans 2 Quart (Still In Pod)
  Butter 2 Ounce (If desired) (Optional)
Directions

Cut corn off cobs.
Pour boiling water over soybean pods (enough to cover them) and allow to stand 5 minutes, then drain and cool.
Remove pods from soybeans.
Put water to the depth of 1 inch in a medium-size saucepan and bring it to a boil.
Add corn and soybeans, cover pan, cook 10 minutes over medium heat or until soybeans are tender.
Drain and serve topped with a bit of butter, if desired.
