Hot New England Clam Chowder

  Bacon slices 4
  Canned minced clams 13 Ounce (2 Cans Of 6 1/2 Ounce Each)
  Peeled and diced potatoes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Oyster crackers 8

Place bacon in a 2 casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp.
Remove bacon, crumble and set aside.
Drain clams and add liquid to drippings.
Stir in potatoes and onion.
Cover and microwave 9 to 12 minutes or until potatoes soften.
Stir flour into 1/4 cup milk.
Add flour mixture and remaining 1 1/4 cups milk, clams, salt and pepper to hot liquid.
Cover and Microwave 4 to 5 minutes or until piping hot.
Let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
Garnish with butter, oyster crackers and crumbled bacon.
