|Sweetened condensed milk||1 Can (10 oz) (1 1/2 Cups, Eagle Brand)|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a heavy saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, sugar and corn syrup.
Cook over medium heat; stir constantly until mixture begins to boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Cook; stir constantly to 236Â°F. on candy thermometer or until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a firm ball.
Remove from heat; stir in butter and salt.
Pour into lightly buttered 8-inch square pan.
Cut into squares.
