Deluxe English Peas

Ingredients
  Fresh english peas 2 Pound
  Vegetable cooking spray 1
  Reduced calorie margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Sliced mushrooms 4 Ounce
  Diced pimiento 2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground savory 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wash and shell the peas and then set them to boil in a covered container. Reduce heat and then simmer for 8 to 12 minutes till tender. Drain.

MAKING
2. Prepare a medium skillet by coating it with cooking spray and then add margarine to the pan along with celery and onion to saute for 3 minutes.
3. Add the mushrooms, pimiento, savory, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes till tender.
4. Add peas and cook till tender.

SERVING
5. Serve hot.
