Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients
  Plain flour 4 Ounce (100 Gram)
  Salt 2 1⁄2 Milliliter (1/2 Teaspoon)
  Egg 1 (Of Size 3)
  Milk 1⁄2 Pint (300 Milliliter)
  Oil 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
Directions

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 8.
Place the oil in an 18 x 28 cm (7 x 11 inch) baking tin, and put in the oven to heat while preparing the batter.
Sieve the flour and salt into a bowl.
Make a well in the centre and break the egg into it, together with half the milk.
Beat well, then add the remaining milk. Mix to a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the hot oil, bake on the third shelf for thirty to thirty-five minutes until well risen and golden brown.
