Asparagus In Blankets
|Frozen asparagus spears||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Packaged biscuit mix||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Dried beef||2 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Jar)|
|Cheese sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Cook asparagus in boiling salted water according to package directions.
Prepare biscuit mix according to package directions for rolled biscuits.
Divide dough in half; roll in two 12-inch circles.
Brush dough with butter.
Cut each circle into 6 wedges.
Divide asparagus and dried beef into 12 equal portions and place crosswise on wide end of wedges; roll.
Press to seal tip.
Bake on greased baking sheet at 450° for 10 minutes or till lightly browned.
Serve with Cheese Sauce: Mix one 10 3/4 ounce can condensed Cheddar cheese soup and 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves, crushed; heat, but do not boil.
