Ingredients
  Granulated sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Blanched almonds 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Grated sweet chocolate 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine the sugar, butter, and water in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the butter is melted, stirring occasionally.
Add the almonds and continue cooking slowly without stirring to 280°F or until a little of the mixture dropped in cold water "cracks." Pour immediately into a lightly greased or oiled shallow pan about 12" x 8" x 1".
When cool, sprinkle with the grated chocolate.
Break into pieces.
Makes about 1 1/2 lbs.
