|Caster sugar||125 Gram|
|Powdered cinnamon/Cumin and coriander powder mixture||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Set oven to 180°C (350°F).
Sift flour into bowl.
Add butter and work with finger-tips until mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Sprinkle with salt and mix again.
Add sugar, rosewater and spices if used, mix well and add egg.
Knead into a dough.
Roll out and cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter.
Prick with fork.
Place on a greased baking tray and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
