Steamed Batter Pudding

Ingredients
  Milk 1 Pint
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 2
  Plain flour 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

Prepare the mixture as in previous recipe.
Pour it into a well-greased pudding basin.
Cover with a greased paper and steam for 2 hr.
Serve with a fruit- or sweet-sauce.
