English Muffin Pizzas
|Extra virgin olive oil||2 Tablespoon (For Brushing Grill)|
|English muffins||3 , split|
|Thin mozzarella cheese slices||6 , cut to fit english muffins|
|Tomato sauce/Catsup||6 Tablespoon|
|Oregano powder||To Taste|
|Garlic powder||To Taste|
|Pepper/Hot pepper flakes||To Taste|
Brush a preheated stove top grill surface lightly with oil.
Cook English muffins, cut side down, over medium-high heat, pressing down with a spatula, about 1 minute.
Turn muffins over.
Place a slice of cheese on top of each muffin.
Grill about 1 minute.
The muffin will have golden brown areas on both top and bottom.
Cheese will begin to melt along edges.
Remove muffins from grill and set on a dish.
Place 1 tablespoon tomato sauce on center of each muffin.
Spread sauce to cover most of top of muffin, using the back of a teaspoon.
Sprinkle muffin with oregano, garlic powder, and pepper to taste.
