Bran Buttermilk Muffins

Ingredients
  Buttermilk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Whole bran cereal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Add buttermilk to bran; let stand till liquid is absorbed.
Beat together sugar, oil, and egg till light and fluffy.
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; blend into egg mixture alternately with bran mixture.
Stir just till dry ingredients are moistened.
Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake in a 400° oven for 20 to 22 minutes.
