Jus Gravy Yorkshire Pudding
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Seasoning blend||1 Ounce (1 Package, For Au Jus Gravy)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Port wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Seasoned pepper||1 Dash|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In medium bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer until frothy.
Reduce speed and gradually add flour and salt, beating until smooth.
Slowly add milk and 14 cup water, beating until blended.
Increase speed to high and continue beating 10 minutes.
Let stand 1 hour.
In medium saucepan, prepare Seasoning Blend for Au Jus Gravy with 1 1/2 cups water, wine and Seasoned Pepper according to package directions.
Preheat oven to 400°F Coat 5-inch ovenproof omelet pan with oil and place in oven.
When pan is very hot, remove and pour off excess oil.
Add 1 tablespoon Au Jus Gravy mixture and 1/2 cup batter to pan.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until puffed and brown.
Remove pudding and wrap in foil.
Repeat with remaining batter.
