Ingredients
  Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1 , well beaten
  Cheddar cheese 1 Pound, diced
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Toast/Crackers 8
Directions

Soak bread crumbs in milk for 15 minutes.
Melt butter over low heat.
Set over hot water.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Add soaked bread crumbs, egg, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, stirring with wire whisk for 2 or 3 minutes.
