English monkey is a cooked saucy topping that can be served over toast slices. Made with breadcrumbs and cheese along with milk, the english monkey is seasoned to taste and has egg in it. served for breakfast, it is quick to prepare and filling.
  Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fat 1 Tablespoon
  American cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Use Mild One)
  Egg 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Toast 1

Soak the bread-crumbs in the milk until they are soft.
Melt the fat in the blazer.
Add the cheese cut in dice.
When the cheese has melted, add the softened crumbs, the egg beaten, and salt and pepper.
Cook three minutes longer and pour over squares of toast.
