Stuffing For A Small Turkey

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion 1 , minced
  Cooking apple 1 Medium, pared, cored, and diced
  Mushrooms 1 Pound, sliced
  Potatoes 2 Medium, boiled, peeled, and diced
  Pine nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried black currants 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Blanched almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Chestnuts 2 Pound, boiled and cleaned
  Prepared bread stuffing 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Chicken stock 2 Cup (32 tbs) (To Make A Moist Stuffing)
  Pate de foie gras 4 1⁄2 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Melt butter in a large deep skillet.
Add onion, apple, and mushrooms; cook until tender.
Add potatoes, pine nuts, currants, almonds, chestnuts, stuffing, and stock.
Heat thoroughly over low heat, adding more liquid if necessary.
Stir in pate.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cool completely.
Stuff bird.
