Stuffing For A Small Turkey
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , minced|
|Cooking apple||1 Medium, pared, cored, and diced|
|Mushrooms||1 Pound, sliced|
|Potatoes||2 Medium, boiled, peeled, and diced|
|Pine nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried black currants||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Blanched almonds||1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced|
|Chestnuts||2 Pound, boiled and cleaned|
|Prepared bread stuffing||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Chicken stock||2 Cup (32 tbs) (To Make A Moist Stuffing)|
|Pate de foie gras||4 1⁄2 Ounce|
Melt butter in a large deep skillet.
Add onion, apple, and mushrooms; cook until tender.
Add potatoes, pine nuts, currants, almonds, chestnuts, stuffing, and stock.
Heat thoroughly over low heat, adding more liquid if necessary.
Stir in pate.
Season with salt and pepper.
