Stuffing For Game Hens

Ingredients
  Corn bread crumbs 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Soft bread cube 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Dried sage 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Canned frozen oysters 10 Ounce
  Instant minced onion 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornish game hen 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Toss together corn bread crumbs, bread cubes, sage, salt, and pepper.
Drain oysters, reserving liquid.
Add onion to liquid.
Chop oysters; add oysters, onion mixture, and 14 cup melted butter to corn bread mixture.
Toss to mix well.
Chill.
Salt insides of birds; truss each.
Place, breast side up, in 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Rub with salad oil.
Spoon stuffing around hens.
Roast, loosely covered, at 400° for 1 hour.
Uncover; roast 30 minutes longer, basting birds with melted butter or margarine.
To serve, arrange the roasted Cornish game hens on a large serving platter; spoon the oyster stuffing in center.
