Dixie Belle Stuffing
|Sausage meat||1 Pound|
|Ready-mix corn-bread stuffing||16 Ounce (2 Packages, 8 Ounce Each)|
|Onions||2 Large, diced|
|Diced celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1.Slice sausage in 8 thick pieces.
2.Take a medium sized frying pan, brown the slices in it from both sides and crumble it in small pieces.
3.Cook for 1 more minute so that sausage is no longer pink.
4.Take the sausage out using a slotted spoon into a large bowl containing stuffing mix.
5.Put onions and celery in the pan and cook in drippings already there until tender.
6.Once done, add water and let the mixture boil.
7.Put the mixture on sausage mixture.
8.Put parsley and mix gently.
9.Use as desired.
