Easy Sage Stuffing
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (3/4 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)|
|Dried bread stuffing cubes||7 Ounce (Half Of 14 Ounce Package)|
|Minced parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground sage||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat; add celery, mushrooms and onion. Cook until onion is soft, about 3 minutes. Pour water into skillet and heat until warm. Remove from heat.
2. Place remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl; add water mixture and toss lightly until mixed.
3. Stuff in poultry, as desired, or bake separately.
