Whole Wheat Stuffing
|Onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Celery stalk with leaves||1 , chopped|
|Uncooked whole wheat cereal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Regular, Hot)|
|Vegetable broth/Chicken broth||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (Homemade)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
1. Melt the butter in a medium-sized skillet and saute the onion until tender but not browned. Add the celery and cook for 1 minute.
2. Add the cereal, broth, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed and the cereal is tender.
