Stuffed Strawberries With Walnuts
|Strawberries||18 Large (Extra Large)|
|Whipped cream cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Finely chopped walnuts||2 Tablespoon|
|Powdered sugar||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Cut a thin slice from the stem end of strawberries, allowing the berries to stand upright.
Cut 1/4 inch off tip end of berries, reserving tips.
Carefully scoop out about half of the pulp from each berry, leaving shells intact.
Combine pulp with cream cheese, walnuts, sugar, and milk, mixing well.
Add extra milk if needed to make a creamy consistency.
Spoon mixture into a decorating bag fitted with a large tip.
Pipe mixture into strawberries, and top with reserved strawberry tips.
