|Strawberry gelatin||1 Tablespoon|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine rhubarb and gelatin.
Sift 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and baking powder together; cut in shortening.
Combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture.
Pat dough into 8 x 8-inch baking pan; bring dough up 3/4 inch on sides.
Pour in rhubarb mixture.
Combine 1 cup sugar and remaining flour; cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle over rhubarb.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
