Strawberry Almond Butter
|Powdered sugar||1 Pound|
|Finely ground almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream butter with powdered sugar and work in the pound of hulled strawberries that have been forced through a colander.
When well mixed, stir in almonds and pinch of salt, if desired.
For a change-of-pace dessert, strawberries with sour cream custard is a "conversation piece." This recipe will serve 6 and it looks delightful in a glass bowl that has been chilled.
