Delectable Strawberry Dessert
|Strawberries||3 Pint, cleaned and hulled|
|Frozen raspberries||10 Ounce, thawed (1 Package, Undrained)|
|Orange liqueur||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Raspberry yogurt||8 Ounce (1 Carton)|
|Frozen whipped topping/1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped||1 Cup (16 tbs), thawed|
|Pound cake||1 Pound|
Reserve approximately 2 pints of largest berries; chill.
Combine remaining strawberries with raspberries in blender.
Add sugar and liqueur and blend 15 seconds; chill.
Combine yogurt and topping or whipped cream and mix gently but thoroughly; chill.
Cut cake into 8 slices.
Top each slice with whole strawberries, some of puree and a dollop of chilled yogurt mixture.
