Elegant Strawberry Cream

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Half and half 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Frozen sliced strawberries 16 Ounce (1 Package, Thawed)
  Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Mix gelatin, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Stir in half-and-half and water. Set over low heat and stir until sugar and gelatin are dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
2. Cool slightly, then chill until mixture is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
3. Beat gelatin with a rotary beater until light and fluffy. Add the strawberries and sour cream and stir lightly until blended. Turn into a 1-quart fancy mold and chill until firm.
4. Unmold dessert onto a chilled serving plate.
