Frosted Strawberry Cookies
|Pound cake mix||8 Ounce (Fructose Sweetened)|
|Fresh strawberries||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), mashed|
|Frosting mix||3 3⁄5 Ounce (Fructose Sweetened)|
|Red food coloring||3 Drop|
Combine cake mix and mashed strawberries in a medium-size bowl.
Stir to blend completely. (Mix will seem sticky.) Drop on a cool, greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Move to cooling rack.
Meanwhile, prepare frosting mix for vanilla-flavored frosting, following directions on box.
Tint frosting with red food coloring.
Cool completely before frosting cookies.
