Strawberry Cream Filling

Ingredients
  Frozen sliced strawberries 12 Ounce, defrosted, drained and mashed
  Whipping cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Confectioner's sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In a chilled bowl, whip cream and confectioner's sugar until stiff.
Carefully fold in strawberries.
Split cake layers in half.
Place top slice of first cake layer on plate macaroon side down.
Spread with one-third filling.
Top with bottom slice macaroon side up.
Spread with one-third filling.
Top with bottom slice of second layer, macaroon side down.
Spread with one-third filling.
Cover with top slice.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
