Keeping our food safe is important to those who work in the agriculture industry, especially the growing market of unprocessed foods. Sherri McKinney reports researchers at Virginia Tech are exploring ways to prevent bacterial contamination.

Food made using fresh ingredients particularly vegetables is wholesome in health and taste aspects. Farm fresh vegetables have to be good enough, preserved of their nutrient values as well as physical form by the time they land up into the end-user's cart.
