It is important to know that mature potatoes freeze faster than fresh potatoes. So, if you need to freeze potatoes, it is better to choose mature potatoes. Another great idea is to cook them completely or partially before you freeze them.
Step one: If you are looking forward to freeze potatoes, you will have to ensure that you are cooking these potatoes partially at first. Many women feel it is better and easy to freeze âready madeâ potatoes than raw potatoes.
Step two: You can start by peeling two or three pounds of potatoes. Cut these potatoes in cubes or dice them. You can cut them in French fry lengths or grate them for some other dish.
Step three: Once you have cut them, you need to simmer them in salted water so that they become little tender. Drain them later on.
Step four: You will now need a non stick pan. Now, slowly pray some cooking oil in the pan and spread these potatoes on the pan. This will prevent the potato cubes from sticking to one another.
Step five: You can transfer these cubes into containers or frozen bags. Just place them inside the freezer and relax for the next few days.
