Easy Stew

This easy stew recipe is prepared with beef and flavored with basil. Baked with celery, onions, carrots and potatoes, the easy beef stew is made with lean beef and can be served with a green salad for a full meal.
Ingredients
  Lean beef 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut in 1.5 inch cubes
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Basil leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Celery stalks 2 , cut in diagonal slices
  Carrots 4 , cut in half, lengthwise and crosswise
  Onions 2 , cut in 0.5 inch slices
  Condensed tomato soup 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 60 Milliliter (Half Soup Can)
  Potatoes 3 , peeled and cubed
Directions

Place beef in 3-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with salt, basil and pepper.
Top with celery, carrots and onions.
Combine soup and water.
Pour over meat and vegetables, coating all pieces.
Cover tightly; bake in 300-degree oven for 3 hours.
Add potatoes and bake 45 minutes longer.
