Hamburger Vegetable Stew
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced carrots||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion/0.5 cup spring onions||1 , chopped|
|Rice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Diced potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat shortening in cooker.
Brown the meat.
Add the tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt, rice, pepper, and water.
Last, add the potatoes.
Close the cooker and place the pressure regulator in position.
When pressure is reached and regulator is gently rocking, cook for 5 minutes.
Allow to cool naturally.
