|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||16 Ounce|
|Frozen vegetables||24 Ounce (For Stew)|
Mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, milk, onion, 1 teaspoon salt and the pepper.
Shape mixture by 1/4 cupfuls into balls (do not pack); brown in Dutch oven over medium high heat.
Drain off fat.
Stir in stewed tomatoes, frozen vegetables and 2 teaspoons salt; heat to boiling.
Cover tightly; simmer on top of range or in 325Â° oven until vegetables are tender, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
