Quick Chicken Stew
|Diced potatoes||2 (Cold)|
|Chicken gravy||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Thickened)|
|Diced cooked chicken||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , finely minced|
To diced cold potatoes add chicken, salt and paprika.
Meanwhile, dilute chicken gravy with boiling water, add onion, minced fine, and simmer until tender.
Then add to chicken, heat thoroughly, and serve, sprinkling with parsley just before serving.
Peas, tiny carrots, or a few cooked string beans may be added to the stew.
Or dumplings may be made and arranged around the edge of the platter, if desired.
