|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Onions||3 Medium, sliced|
|Fish fillets||1 1⁄2 Pound (Fresh / Frozen, Thawed , Such As Cod / Halibut)|
|Boiling water||1 Quart|
|Carrots||3 Large, pared and diced|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Potatoes||1 1⁄2 Pound, pared and cubed|
|Celery with leaves||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 In a heavy Dutch oven or kettle, heat oil.
2 Add in onions and saute until tender.
3 Slice fish into 1-inch pieces.
4 Add in fish and the remaining ingredients to onions.
5 Simmer, covered for 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
6 Serve hot.
