Rocky Mountain Oyster Stew
|Oysters||18 (1 1/2 Dozens)|
|Oyster liquor||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), cut|
|Dried parsley flakes||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|2% milk||1 Quart|
1.Carefully remove oysters from their shells.
2.Drain oysters and reserve liquid.
3.Take a 2 quart saucepan and rub with cut garlic clove.
4.Add in salt, parsley and margarine.
5. Heat .
6.Add in oysters and oyster liquor.
7. Cook until oyster edges curls over medium heat.
8.Add in milk and stir cook to scald.
9.Add in pepper.
10. Garnish with paprika and serve hot.
