Oyster Stew

Ingredients
  Oysters/2 dozen oysters + 2/3 cup liquid 2 Pint
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Celery salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Light cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Paprika To Taste
  Chopped parsley 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Drain oysters and reserve the liquid.

MAKING
2) In 3-quart saucepan, heat butter.
3) Add oysters; cook 3 to 5 minutes, or until edges begin to curl.
4) Add salt, celery salt, pepper, cream, milk, and oyster liquid.
5) Heat, over medium heat, just until bubbles form around edge of pan.
6) Do not boil.

SERVING
7) Sprinkle the stew with paprika and the chopped parsley.
8) Serve hot with oyster crackers.
