Irish Lamb Stew

Ingredients
  Lamb shoulder 1 Pound
  Beef chuck 1 Pound
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Yellow onions 2 , sliced
  Paprika 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), minced
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  White onions 12
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Turnip 1 , peeled
  Carrots 2 , peeled
  Cabbage 3⁄4 , cut in small
  Leeks 2 , sliced
  Canned tomatoes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Potatoes 4 Medium, peeled
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Dice meat into 2-inch cubes.

MAKING
2) Roll the meat cubes in a mixture of salt, pepper, and flour.
3) Heat oil and fry the rolled meat in it until browned.
4) Stir in sliced onions, paprika, garlic and water and bring to a boil.
5) Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours and then cook again for 30 minutes after adding in white onions.
6) Mix in the remaining ingredients and boil for about 30 minutes more.

SERVING
7) Serve hot.
