Super Oyster Stew

Ingredients
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tabasco sauce 2 Drop (Few Drops Required)
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Oysters 1 Pint
  Milk 1 Quart, scalded
Directions

Combine flour, salt, Tabasco, and water; blend to smooth paste.
Stir into oysters and liquor.
Simmer over very low heat till edges curl.
Then pour into milk.
Remove pan from heat; cover and let stand 15 minutes— this mellows the flavor.
Reheat stew briefly.
Serve piping hot in heated soup plates.
Drop in some butter or margarine, dash with paprika.
