Bean And Hominy Stew
|Frozen sliced okra||10 Ounce, rinsed and drained (1 package)|
|Canned kidney beans||30 Ounce, drained (1 can)|
|Hominy||20 Ounce, drained (1 can)|
|Canned whole tomatoes||16 Ounce (1 can)|
|Celery stalks||2 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried dill weed||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Shredded cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Imitation bacon||2 Tablespoon|
Rinse frozen okra under running cold water to separate; drain.
Mix okra, beans, hominy, tomatoes (with liquid), celery, Worcestershire sauce, salt and dill weed in ungreased 2-quart casserole; break up tomatoes with fork.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Cook uncovered in 350° oven until hot and cheese is melted, about 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with imitation bacon.
