Pork Cider Stew
|Pork shoulder roast||2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Chopped potatoes||3 Cup (48 tbs) (3 Medium)|
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Chopped carrots||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (3 Medium)|
|Chopped apple||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (1 Medium)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Stalk)|
|Quick cooking tapioca||3 Tablespoon|
|Caraway seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Apple cider/Apple juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. In a 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker place meat, potatoes, onions, carrots, apple, and celery. Sprinkle with tapioca, salt, caraway seeds, and pepper. Pour apple cider over all.
2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
